Ms. Croom spoke to my eighth-grade class about writing a first-time cover letter and resume and how to conduct themselves in a first-time interview. She was an articulate speaker gearing her presentation to eighth-grade teens. She was professional in her approach but friendly in her interactions with the students. She went beyond just answering the students' questions to make sure that students felt satisfied with her responses to their questions. She used visual aids to assist in her presentation. After her presentation, she took the time to review all the students' cover letters and resumes and comment on them to assist the students in improving their written and verbal interviewing skills. Ms. Croom brings vitality and honesty to her presentation that engages the audience and keeps them listening to every word she speaks. She held our eighth-grade class's attention for over forty minutes. I would highly recommend inviting Ms. Croom to speak to your organization.

Patty Croom’s talk to the Rotary Club of Downers Grove was nothing short of inspiring. With authenticity, raw emotion, and undeniable passion, she shared the deeply personal journey behind her blog, Just Jump, and her first book, When Will She Be Better. Patty has a remarkable ability to connect with her audience, drawing them in with her heartfelt storytelling and openness. Her willingness to be vulnerable not only captivates the room but also leaves a lasting impact, encouraging everyone to strive for personal growth each day. I highly recommend Patty as a speaker—her message resonates in a way that stays with you long after the conversation ends.
